Oil on canvas representing a young man in bust signed lower left "JC Richard". Born in 1791 in Paris. 19th century French. Portraitist and lithographer. Student of Chaudet and Ducq. Appeared at the Salon of 1814 and executed some drawings for the album of the Duchess of Berry. Empire frame with palmettes in gilded stucco.
