Pair of Louis XV period armchairs to the Queen stamped Sylvain Nicolas Blanchard (1725 - circa 1770) Pair of Louis famous master carpenters in seats, Eldest son of Nicolas Blanchard, he was made a master carpenter on August 17, 1743, at the age of 18. Most of his work is in the Louis XV style, very beautifully crafted, very elegant seats. The seats bearing his stamp are few in number and of high quality His shop was located near the Porte St Denis under the sign of "Chat Blanc" This pair of seats is in good condition (house condition) covered with a tapestry of 'Aubusson from the same period (Greenery from the 18th century)
