Amazment At The Midnight Sun In Ilulissat, N. Greenland,, O/ L , E.a Petersen.

In a spirit close to  Caspar D. Friedrich, the Danish painter E.A Petersen represents the fascination of an Inuit tribe in front of  the grandiose spectacle of the Midnight Sun at the beginning of July at Ilulissat in Disco Bay in North Greenland. This site, now classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a central observation point for the resistance of icebergs to global warming.
The painter EA Petersen devoted his life to magnifying the world of White solitudes and his work will remain a precious testimony of a universe to be preserved
