Louis XVI period “sauté” chest of drawers with slight central projection, in “butterfly wing” rosewood marquetry, amaranth, light wood fillets, and stained wood, decorated with geometric friezes and rosettes foliage. It opens with two drawers in two rows. the rounded uprights with simulated grooves in blackened wood. it rests on four tapered legs. “Profile” pull handles and keyholes in original gilded bronze.
