Small Walnut Wall Unit – 1920

This small walnut wall unit opens with two doors decorated with blue, green, red and smoked stained glass surrounded by lead rods. These doors are decorated with brass spandrels and fitted with a functional original lock with entrances and key. The interior offers a fixed shelf mounted on battens. The uprights are lightly carved with frieze motifs ending in very discreet spinning tops. Below, this small piece of furniture has a recessed barred part accompanied by side consoles. The cornice is sober and fine. Two iron clips allow the furniture to be attached to the wall.
