"Important Plate Chandelier By Daum Lorrain Art Deco With 12 Lights"
Chandelier with six tulips, six lighting plates and a large hexagonal basin with stylized Art Deco decoration of flowers and tapered foliage. Around 1925, Antonin Daum diversified the production of the Daum factory in Nancy by taking over a factory in Croismare (Lunéville): the “Belle Étoile glassworks”. Mechanized in 1927 and directed by Paul Daum assisted by creators Pierre Bergé or Pierre d'Avesn, it produced pressed molded glass pieces under the “Lorrain” signature until 1934. Our Daum/Lorrain chandelier signed “Lorrain” was therefore made between 1927 and 1934Silvered bronze and pressed glass signed
