Fine Decorated And Painted Fan.
Fan with tortoiseshell splints, datable to the second half of the 19th century, parchment wing painted with an allegorical scene referring to the arts and painting and surrounded by splendid lacework. A signature appears but the helper cannot be identified. The carved and gilded case is also very well cared for. Measures 77x50x8cm
