"2 Drawings By René Paul Schutzenberger, Cats And Chickens...."
Paul René Schutzenberger trained at L'Académie Jullian with Jean Paul Laurens. He exhibited at the SAF from 1889, at the Indépendants from 1902 and at the SNBA from 1906. His drawings are in a Japanese style, close to that of the Nabis artists. 1- Cats and chickens, 19 x 30cm 2- Cats on the front and back portrait, 18 x 23cm Both bear the mint mark at the bottom right.
