Louis XVI Period Dressing Table In Rosewood Marquetry
Pretty dressing table in rosewood marquetry, it rests on four sheathed legs with reserve decoration. On the front it opens to a small drawer on the right designed to accommodate an inkwell, in the center a drawer with lock and key, topped with a zipper lined with leather forming a writing desk. The top, inlaid with a butterfly wing in frames, in three parts, in the center the panel lifts revealing a mirror, on each side the panels reveal storage. Original bronzes and sabots, furniture in very good condition, varnished with revised stamp. work from the Louis XVI period. 79.5 cm
