Pair of gilded bronze candlesticks, 18th century; fluted circular base, decorated with foliage frieze and row of pearls; was decorated with rough grooves and foliage falls; binets decorated with acanthus. On the bottom, engraved inventory mark CP 15 (Chateau de Compiegne?). Very beautiful gilding.
