Lovely portrait of a young woman in a sensual pose, her curly hair cascading over one shoulder. She hides her nudity with a scarlet cloth which she holds in her hand. Of high pictorial quality, this portrait of a pretty brunette will seduce you with her perfect curves, the finesse of her features and her delicious pose. It is the work of Jules Gustave Lempereur, well known for these subjects inspired by his Master, Jean-Gabriel Domergue. Very nice contrast of colors. Signed lower right “J LEMPEREUR”. It is highlighted by its beautiful original frame in patinated stuccoed wood. Very pretty patina of a soft color in perfect harmony with the painting. Dimensions: Table: 46 cm x 55 cm (10 F format) With its frame: 60 cm x 69 cm and 5 cm thick. Very good state. The painting which has just been cleaned by a professional is very bright.
