Niki de SAINT-PHALLE is a Franco-American painter and sculptor who participated in the group of New Realists who became internationally famous with her Tirs and Nanas. She received numerous public commissions, notably for fountains and gardens. His works are often very colorful and strong, like this superb copy of Les Baigneurs made around 1981, in painted polyester. It is present in numerous museums in France and abroad and has been the subject of numerous exhibitions including a major retrospective at the Grand Palais in Paris in 2014, continued at the Guggenheim in Bilbao in 2015. The copy that we present to you is numbered 112/150 under the base, with the stamps of the signature "Niki" and the founder R.Haligon. It is in very good general condition, with very slight traces of dirt.
