China Lamp Late 19th Century.
In polychrome Canton porcelain, this large lamp is decorated inside with cartouches of scenes from daily life, flowers, trendy birds and butterflies. On each side of the collar is a lying golden Fô dog and lower down, on the shoulder, two dragons are applied on either side, and also golden. Baluster-shaped, this large vase is fitted with a bronze mount with a Napoleon III-style medal patina. 19th century period. Electrification is recent, and the basic lampshade is there for presentation in order to give the customer the choice of colors and shape, the latter does not always justify the shipping costs. Dimensions: lamp alone 48 cm, lamps plus lampshade 87 cm.
