Large 18th century English round table called "gate leg". This type of table with removable leaves has pivoting legs to support the leaves when in the open position. Closed, this table serves as a console. It consists of a drawer with a gilded brass handle. The legs are worked and there are hoops at one end. One of the feet bears the “TL” stamp.
