A tchanquée cabin is a wooden cabin perched on stilts typical of the Arcachon basin. The two tchanqué cabins of Île aux Oiseaux, located in the commune of La Teste-de-Buch, have become the emblem of the Basin and constitute, with the Pilat dune, one of the most represented motifs in literature local tourist.
