Beautiful and large sculpture of a saint, probably Saint Veronica, in hand-carved natural wood. Beautiful religious object. Standing, she has her head bowed and her arms crossed in front of her chest. She is dressed in a heavy veil hanging over her face and falling to her feet. His right leg is bent. Her veil has many folds. She wears her veil over a dress. Very beautiful sculpture to decorate a chapel or a gallery. This saint can be placed on a console or in an alcove for a perfect presentation. Solid wood. Sculpture in the round.
French work - from the end of the 17th century or the beginning of the 18th century.
