Empty Pocket With Monkey XIX Zimmerman In Hanau Fonte
Artist: Zimmerman
Card or coin changer with monkey...Cast iron object from the 19th century, signed and numbered below. A little monkey wearing a Fregean cap once held something as a small hole awaits in its outstretched and closed fist. This little character like those of the "hurdy gurdy man" or gypsies is crouched on a scallop shell which has three feet. This object is marked "Verlang bei EGZimmerman in Hanau" and bears the foundry number 11907. Nice witness to our old habits, in perfect condition.
