This is a katana from the Muromachi period (1336-1573).
With its original menuki, tsuka with dark cordage placed on the ridged skin. Original marugata type tsuba with decoration of a character observing a floral landscape. Fuchi and kashira also decorated. Its particularity is the decoration found in the saya, with fantastic lacquered wood work.
