Art Deco keramis vase in fine enameled earthenware, ovoid in shape, decorated with deer and plants, brown, green and black enamels on a white background. Similar model listed in the catalog of the works of Charles Catteau by Marc Pairon, page 203.

BOCH Frères Kéramis
Created in 1841 in La Louvière in Belgium by Eugène and Victor Boch, the Kéramis factory is a large classic earthenware factory, whose flagship is the production of Delft decorations. The arrival in 1906 of the designer Charles Catteau gave it new impetus. Present at the International Exhibition of Decorative Arts of 1925 and the Salon d'Automne in Paris, she worked for the art workshops of department stores - Primavera, Pomone and la Maitrise - influenced by Japonism, Africanism and avant-garde.
