Rare symbolist bronze plaque by Gustave Van Hove Student of his father Hippolyte Van Hove, who was a potter. Continuing education at the Wetteren Academy and around 1884-1887 at the Brussels Academy. Second Prix de Rome in 1888, after J. Lagae. Took part in the Ghent and Brussels Salons, among others at the General Exhibition of Fine Arts in Brussels in 1884 ("Boy with fish", plaster sculpture).measures with the wooden panel (oak) 37cm by 19cm
