Fragments Of A Pair Of 18th Century Aubusson Tapestries flag

Object description :

"Fragments Of A Pair Of 18th Century Aubusson Tapestries"
Pair of fragments of Aubusson tapestries from the 18th century, restored and cleaned by the Workshops of La Maison CHEVALIER in Courbevoie years ago. The borders were removed because they were probably too damaged, a canvas was placed on the back. The decorations are for one: 1 couple in period clothing under an umbrella in the center of the panel, greenery (dimensions 1.30X2.40cm) for the other a landscape with castle, greenery and ducks (1.33X2.38cm) . The character tapestry remains the most restored but nevertheless has a great effect. The colors are beautiful, in gradients of blue and green enhanced with pink for each fragment.
