Pair of chiseled and gilded bronze sconces from the Louis XVI period. Model with two arms of light Stem in the shape of a fluted quiver, asparagus roughness, decorated with falling garlands, crowned with a fire pot Sinuous arm in jagged foliage; twisted fluted cups, heart spokes; water leaf bins. This model exists in different cast iron and engraving qualities. Our pair is at the top of the hierarchy, nervous arms, detailed casting, very fine carving, superb mercury gilding. (see the photo before and after cleaning in our workshop) Parisian work from the end of the 18th century
