The Angel With The Harp, Color Lithograph By Erté (1892-1990).

The angel with the harp, color lithograph numbered LXXXIV/CL by Romain de TIRTOFF known as ERTE (1892-1990). He was born in Saint Petersburg to a renowned Russian family whose father was Admiral of the Imperial Fleet. He moved to Paris in 1912 and took Erté (RT) as his artist name so as not to dishonor his illustrious family. He worked for Paul Poiret, designing costumes and sets for theater, opera and even silent films in Hollywood. His work will be emblematic of the Art Deco era.
