This high quality but fragmentary angel from the beginning of the 17th century. History has it that it comes from the Cathedral of Saint John in Den Bosch (Netherlands). dimensions in cm LXLXH 66x26x16 cm The history: In the sixties, the Cathedral of St. John or St. John in Den Bosch underwent a major restoration. The woodwork and interior have been carefully cared for. A large part of the wood was then replaced because the quality of the original sculptures in particular was very poor. The copies that were made have been handed over. This remained in the workshop of the restorer who carried out the work in the 1960s. The story is not yet confirmed, but it is a magnificent and large church angel. The fragment is in good condition
