Seignot 18th 19th Century Solid Gold Tortoiseshell Folding Travel Knife

Folding travel knife with two blades: one steel blade signed by the cutler Signot, the other solid gold hallmarked with a rooster beaking to the right (3rd title gold 750 thousandths 1798-1809), tortoiseshell handle, ferrules and plate in gold, vintage late 18th and early 19th centuries. This knife is in good general condition. Note: missing a small nail on the handle, small accidents and tiny shocks on the handle and ferrules, tiny tears and oxidation on the steel blade, wear and tear over time, look carefully at the photos.
