Sceaux 18th (glass Cooler)
This earthenware glass cooler or canopy is undoubtedly a commissioned piece because it should be noted that Chinese decoration is rare at the SCEAUX factory in the 18th century
. Resting on a pedestal highlighted with an eggplant net, it offers a small fire decoration of small Chinese characters staged on grassy terraces.
The upper part has a blue worsted on the inside and a purple worsted on the outside.
Laterally 2 plated handles.
In the center of the basin, a flowering stem accompanied by leaves decorated with two opposing "greens" (characteristic of SCEAUX)
We notice on one of the sides (visible in the photo) a small cooking accident.
