Beautiful eighteenth century jumping chest of drawers inlaid with amaranth violet wood. It has three drawers on the front, two drawers in the upper part, a large drawer in the lower part, two brass rods. Trimmed with gilded bronzes, pull handles, corner falls. The chest of drawers is topped with a beautiful gray Languedoc marble, 3.8 cm thick, the back of the marble is ground by hand. Early 18th century chest of drawers of good proportions in good condition. Stamped MM attributed to Michel Mallerot, master cabinetmaker in 1740.
