Nude painting of a woman with a shawl. Oil on canvas by Charles Picart Le Doux. Student at the Académie Julian then at the Beaux-Arts in Paris until 1902. Began in 1904 at the Salon des Indépendants, then at the Salons de la Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts, d'Automne, and des Tuileries. Received the Grand Medal of the Paris International Exhibition in 1937. Performed decorations for Le Normandie. Signed upper left. In a patinated stuccoed wooden frame. Frame dimensions: 45.5 x 31.5 cm. Cleaned by my restorer
