French painter born in Rouen and died in Vernon. A student at the School of Fine Arts in Rouen, he received an honorable mention at the Salon des Artistes Français in 1882. In 1884, he moved to Freneuse and exhibited at the Museum of Fine Arts in Rouen, where he became curator from 1905 to 1922.
