Old Ecru Linen Sheet Embroidered With Holly Art Deco Monogramm Hg With Returns Never Used Handmade

Very beautiful ecru linen sheet, hand embroidered with white thread, monogrammed HG in the center of the discovery. It is decorated with Venetian days and holly leaves and berries, plumetis. Entirely embroidered with satin stitch in strong relief, monogram and 11 important holly motifs distributed across the width and returns. The material is heavy with a very nice drape, particularly on the sides (returns). A beautiful finish: the bottom of the sheet is nicely finished with a small hem instead of a classic hem. Height of the letters: 10 cm Length of the two letters together: 12 cm First half of the 20th century around 1925 / 1930. Dimensions: 3.00 m long x 2.30 m wide Returns of 72 cm from the height of the discovery with day work and embroidery (see photos). Weight: 2.100 kg Old sheet that has never been used, just washed. No wear, slight handling marks, creases. It still retains its original "string" color and very slight traces of the design which will wash away. The sheet can be paired or pendant with the second sheet of the same manufacture and same initials HG put on sale in my gallery.
