"Revolver “le Mignon” By Charles Galand (1832-1900) 19th Century"
Galand revolver of the Le Mignon type, 1880 period, 19th century. Revolver with barrel disassembly system using side key, to reload by tilting the key located on the right forward, also allowing the barrel to be removed. Round barrel carrying half-moon sight, rifled interior, bearing "ELG" and "P" star chambers at the entrance. 5-shot fluted barrel in caliber 380. Black bronzed frame carrying eyepiece and front sight. Marking "GALAND" (Charles François Galand (1832-1900 Arquebusier in Paris) left side and hallmarks under the lever of the locking key "R" crowned & "P" starred. The number 7 on the tilting axis of the barrel. Trigger folding and squared terminal plate fixed by a central transverse screw. Mechanism in perfect working order.
