Milton, blind, dictating his poem: "On his blindness" to Andrew Malvell This small painting takes up a theme which inspired many painters in the 19th century, the author, Léonnie Dupont, is not documented to my knowledge. Good general condition of the painting, period frame, slightly repatinated.
