in fact Laprade began exhibiting around 1901 see 2 photos of Benezit
the pieces that LAPRADE decorated at METTHEY are known but this one is earlier
I have not been able to determine in which factory it was was made this piece
it represents a port I think Breton
it has a slight original cooking defect on the left of the boat
it is signed twice: once at the back and the name of the boat is the name of the artist: THE LAPRADE
