Pair of painted beech wood chairs from the Louis XVI period, France, 18th century, Circa 1770-1780, with cabriolet backs and gendarme hats, resting on four fluted and roughened legs. With their original straps and original 18th century tapestry in poor condition. Iron mark under the belt unknown (?) Beautiful pair of chairs with wide seats, with harmonious proportions, a refined construction in certain details, such as the recess at the corners of the front belt, the sculpture of the connecting dice and the makes the rear legs sculpted like the front ones. (quality sign)
