Crossbow Commode In 18th Century Walnut With Breccia Marble Top
Very beautiful chest of drawers in the so-called "crossbow" shape in walnut, Regency - Louis XV style, opening with three very strongly moved drawers. All of the fronts of these drawers are cut from the mass (very spectacular work when you look at the inside of these drawers). It rests on four feet carved in the round in the shape of an animal foot. On its top a very beautiful molded breccia marble. The falling handles are of the so-called “troubadour” model. Origin from the South-Eastern quarter of France.
