Large oil on canvas signed lower left Aline S. Leconte depicting boats docked in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, the French capital of inland shipping. Canvas under Marie-Louise, in a molded wooden frame, cerused gilt. On the chassis a label marked “Bateaux à Conflans”. Dimensions of the canvas, 54.5x73.3 cm Total dimensions, with frame, 68x87 cm Aline Leconte, contemporary artist, has exhibited in the Salons of Île-de-France, Pontoise, l'Isle-Adam, Argenteuil, Osny, etc. His works are permanently exhibited at the Galerie de Grouchy open in the Château de Grouchy in Osny, a famous impressionist village. Aline Leconte received the Grand Prize at the Salon du Val de Viosne in 2014 and 1st prize for painting on the motif at the 2015 Festival des Impressionnistes.
