Born in Belley (Ain), on August 11, 1832, died in Lyon on November 25, 1894. A pupil of the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Lyon between 1848 and 1852, Pizzetty began to exhibit between 1851 and 1852 still lifes and flowers (oils and watercolors). Since 1881, signed PIZETTA to distinguish itself from a namesake.
