Very large pair of lamps made from panels of chariots or rathas (processional chariots). South Indies, XIX th Century. These tank panels were entrusted by their owners to Maison Jansen around 1960 to mount them as lamps and decorate their villa in Deauville, the brick-colored velvet lampshades were made to measure and are in very good condition. The base is in bronze, with a gunmetal patina. Electricity with two lamps, in working condition. Provenance: villa in Deauville. Delivery possible, please contact us.
