Art Deco Cabinet With Two Showcases Signed Blondel

Rare cabinet recessed and slightly raised in walnut with two illuminating showcases. Central body with two doors in amboyna burl veneer. Interior doors in burr walnut veneer with storage shelves. Showcases with gilt brass surrounds with gold leaf interior on red plate. Original lighting with protective bars in gilded wood and brass. Original glass shelves. Wide flat base with molded vertical. Unrestored piece of furniture in a very good state of conservation (usual wear). Plaque on the back of the cabinet: Blondel Ameublement - Décoration 86, chaussée de Charleroi Brussels (Maison Jean Blondel, archives of the city of Brussels).
