"Empire Gilt Bronze Chandelier With 6 Lights"
Superb and elegant Empire style chandelier with 6 lights in gilded bronze. It is composed of a cylindrical base ornamented with brown and green bronze escutcheons, the whole holding the lights in the shape of a finely chiseled cornucopia. The underside is heavily chiselled with a decoration of palm leaves and a pine cone completes the lower decoration. The upper part in dark and gilded bronze is decorated with openwork motifs and a cup ends the upper part and the whole is held together by gilded chains and a crown with openwork palmettes. High quality work, superb fine carving and the whole in excellent working order
