"Large Stemmed Glass, Early Eighteenth Century"
This very large crystal glass or Pokal rests on a faceted cut baluster and supported by a large foot with an umbilicus, engraved with flowers and geometric friezes. The rim is cut in its lower part with flat ribs and in its upper part with round pellets, it is richly engraved with foliage, flowers and geometric friezes. Of significant dimensions, this glass is 25 cm high, the foot 12.3 cm in diameter, and the rim 9.3 in diameter. Exceptional state of conservation. Origin: Holland or Bohemia. Period: first third of the 18th century.
