"Copy By Haquette Of Justice Pursuing The Crime Of Prud'hon"
Copy by Georges Haquette (1852-1906) of the famous painting by Pierre Paul Prud'hon justice and divine vengeance pursuing crime. This copy, in the format of the sketching exercises of the National School of Fine Arts in Paris, must have been made in the studio of Alexandre Cabanel, when he was his student. Afterwards, he will engage as a sailor and will specialize in the representation of marine scenes. The painting is on its canvas and with its original frame, has some accidents visible in the photographs and is sold without a frame.
