Empire Style Stool In Golden Wood
Empire style stool in gilded wood. Mid-nineteenth century period. It rests on four legs ending in lion's paws connected by two spacers. The armrest consoles are finished with sculpted lion heads. The seat has kept its original fabric in navy blue silk, placed in padding and surrounded by a braid. Note that some buttons are missing. Padding by straps and springs in good condition. Original gilding with some gaps and times. Dimensions: W 79 x D 40 x H 54 seat height 44
