In the Coursange earthenware factory in Poet-Laval, he learned ceramics, his talent as a painter enabled him to modernize decorations and renew forms. In 1958, in Dieulefit, he decided to open his own ceramic workshop and produced unique pieces with figurative motifs engraved in the earth and enamelled with brown and black tones.
