Beautiful showcase in lemon veneer with rounded sides. It opens with a front door and two doors on the sides. Overturned ogee cornice, fusaroles and gilt bronze beads. The central door framed with fretwork, laurel wreaths, mask and foliage. Curved diamond with palmettes and foliage, green tinted holly and engraved angel scene. The side doors with curved glass, spandrels and gilt bronze frame. Inlaid tulip tree: laurel garlands, tied ribbons and florets. Crosspieces with posts and dice with stylized flowers. Sheath feet with stylized hooves. Oak frame. High quality furniture, work of Mercier Frères in Paris. We find the same stations and shoes on a signed console (Proantic, reference 846527).
