"Sculpture Bronze Statuette Goddess Aphrodite Venus Naked Naiad Eighteenth Century"
Bronze sculpture (bronze brown patina) representing the goddess Aphrodite or Venus half naked, standing on one foot resting on a small rock, holding a small object (a mirror?) in the right hand, the left arm stretched towards the sky with a root (of mandrake) in the hand, from the 18th century. This sculpture is in good condition and is of remarkable quality. The wooden base is later. A note: tiny scratches and wear on the patina, see photos.
