"Legras Planter Phenicia Cup Glass Vosges Landscape Decor Acid Etched Art Nouveau Circa 1900"
Legras four-lobed oval planter from the 72,000 series known as "engraved landscapes" referenced "phoenicia planter". Rotating decoration engraved with acid with Vosges forest decoration on a satin background ending in orange to represent the sky. The same model is described and photographed in the excellent work "Legras Verrier" (Michel, Fouchet and Vitrat) pages 220 and 221 under number 294 and appears on the commercial plate of the series of engraved landscapes reproduced on page 165. Signed LEGRAS in cameo. Dimensions: Length: 22 cm Width: 12.5 cm Height: 8.3 cm Weight: 1 kg Very good condition. Small scratches from use.
