This is an antique Landscape Oil Painting, Mountain Landscape Painting with Snow, XXth Century. an antique painting, from the 20th century, representing a landscape
with a summit illuminated by light, with warm colours.
This old painting, representing a snow-covered mountain landscape, painted in midday light,
as written on the back of the frame by the painter "l'aiguille du midi".
On the back of the painting the painter also wrote the painted location: 'Merlet de Chamonix'.
The work is an oil painting with a carved and lacquered wooden frame,
original and coeval to the old painting.
Landscape canvas painting dated 1963 and signed
in the bottom right by Lucien Quenard (1902-1995),
a French painter active in the 20th century. Painter of mountain landscapes.
The frame and painting are restored.
