Very pretty travel trunk called "Mail trunk" covered with a woven Damier canvas with studded leather borders and brass jewelry. This checkered canvas is strongly inspired by one of the key motifs of the famous Louis Wuitton travel trunk. Anonymously manufactured, perhaps from the "Au Touriste" brand, this trunk is a top-of-the-range creation of the time. Attested by this famous checkered canvas and brass fittings stamped HB SGDG. and a symbol representing a sun, a recognized mark of the time. Very nice decorative item.
