19th Century Burr Walnut Desk Stamped By Edwards & Roberts
A stunning 19th century figured walnut Davenport desk with brass grill. It has a fall front with a tooled leather writing surface, opening to reveal four small interior drawers with tiny turned handles. One side has a sliding ink tray, brushing slide and four graduated walnut drawers with wooden knob handles, all standing on bun feet with brass castors. Stamped by Edwards & Roberts. This magnificent piece is finished all the way around with spectacular figured walnut.
